We speak again of our newsroom, where in a little while, we will begin in all your emotions, the interview 124 of the Aristocracy.This time, we speak with a band that comes from Lithuania. This band is called Orb. As we say in their presentation, they play a very strong Stoner Metal and very sure of what they are looking for.We must say that they show us their second full album titled Clouds Of Green. We must thank the website Doomed Nation and also of course the band itself. Of course we have merits for finding this band, but if they didn't have the talent and the ability, they would never be here. The fact is that they are and we're going to start this conversation after a song by them!

Hey, sorry we took a bit longer to answer, we had a festival gig this weekend and just started sobering up. A1:Talking about the composition work in Clouds Of Green?
Orb:"Clouds Of Green" really was a big improvement compared to our first album "Orbservatory". Instrumental parts got much more dynamic, we experimented a bit with vocals. We definitely see it as more professional work.
A2:Love the devil and be the devil is something complicated for the man even if musically speaking?
Orb:We can all be our own God or our own Devil. There's nothing complicated about that if you are living by your own rules. You wanna be the Devil? Do it!
A3:Who should we give that last kiss to in the third song?
Orb:People think we should kiss the Witch. Yeah she is sexy and stuff, but no...
This was very artsy way of saying that you take the last rip from the bong before death. We are artists after all.
A4:Why does the band have confidence in immortality?
Orb:We do understand the fact, that everything will come to an end. Immortality is just an utopian dream that we want to reach with our songs. It's a way of defining our free souls.
A5:What´s the idea behind artwork´s album?
Orb:If you would listen to lyrics carefully you would see most characters and objects we sing about. Album itself has a strong fairytale-like approach to story telling. The cover should take you in deeper to our weed filled, Devil worshiping fairytale.
A6:What kind of subject don´t deserve a Orb song?
Orb:Government. They do suck. Other than that we can sing about anything.
A7:Even knowing that Lithuania is not a perfect country, has metal making there been enjoyable even in dark times?
Orb:Lithuania is a great country. Not perfect, but pretty good. Lately we do feel rise in local metal scene and we really enjoy seeing that. Making music is easy, if we would talk about promotion, sponsorship and stuff like that it becomes more difficult, but other than that it's all been great.
A8:The band like sludge too?
Orb:Yes, definitely!
A9:This new album is conceptual?
Orb:We somewhat covered this question previously. This album is more like a satanic, weed filled fairytale with beer and stuff.
A10:Believe in witches is it easier in Lithuania?
Orb:Definitely. Witches are all around in our folklore and some are visible even today. They take different looks and different roles, but we do see witches.
A11:Does making the second album bring maturity to the band?
Orb:Naah... We are the same high and drunk idiots. Maybe we learned to play guitars a bit better.
A12:What would the 2022 Orb say to the 2011 Orb?
Orb:Release your fucking albums sooner you dicks! And stop drinking so much in rehearsals.
A13:What band mean with Power Stoner?
Orb:ORB isn't tradicional stoner metal, we are not sluge, or desert or doom... "Power Stoner" best describes our love for stoner, old-school, rock'n'roll scenes and best describes our sound and lyrics.
A14:Point out differences between Orbservatory and now in Clouds Of Green?
Orb:"Orbservatory": down to earth, straightforward."Clouds of Green" - more dynamic, melodic and powerful, riffy.
A15:What´s bands influence Orb?
Orb:The list is too long, but to name a few: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Angel Witch, Elder, Electric Wizard, Monolord, Dopelord....We are 5 guys with a bit different taste in music, our influences list would be too long, let's save paper!
A16:How has immortality transformed their lives?
Orb:Immortality is great! young skin, no hangovers,ears filled with heavy guitars.
