Well,Friends of Aristocracy!

We speak again of our newsroom, where in a little while, we will have in all its emotions, the interview 204 of the Aristocracy. With this objective, a mercurial sound and full of idiosyncrasies this band that is called Ramchat arrives at its fourth album titled as Krvel.

But, for everything to come out in an intense way and with all the Slovak mythology that you are going to follow, someone's mind is needed. That someone goes by Pavel "Hirax" Baričák. We want to thank him for his answers, for his work over the years and also for showing that he can reinvent himself because before Ramchat, Lunatic Gods was part of his life, the most interesting thing is that even with Pavel's departure, the band remains. But the subject is not Pavel's old universe, it's the current one. So, let's deal with Ramchat and his fourth work from now on!

A1:Talking about the composition work in Krvel?

Pavel Baricák:We worked on the album Krveľ for two years. It worked out well, it was just exhausting. But the feedback is great, it looks like we've recorded a strong, breakthrough album...

A2:Since you have an anti-Christian theme and perhaps it is also like this in your personal life, is it possible to believe that the world would be better, worse or the same as we have today if religions had not existed?

Pavel:We are not against Christianity, that is a mistake. We respect all faiths. Modern man has lost contact with nature. That's the fault, not the church. They speak nice words in the churches, but many human hearts are deaf to them... The world will be better when people return to humility and start learning from nature...

A3:It's not that you don't like cohesion in your progressions, but is doing that and not sounding dissonant something to escape the commonplace or a natural decision?

Pavel:We like originality. No band in the world plays like Ramchat. Sometimes we also touch on dissonances, but it's in moderation...

A4:Some literature or film inspire the band?

Pavel:We were inspired by life and our own souls...

A5:Is making the songs in your native language so that the words don't lose meaning?

Pavel:Exactly. We sing in our native language. You can't understand the words in metal anyway. We don't play heavy metal, but black / death.

A6:What would the Slavic gods say about the Slavic countries in their current situation?

Pavel:They would probably strike with thunder, let the sheep come to their senses...

A7:Can we say that the listener, when listening to Krvel, will feel on a roller coaster due to the countless feelings that the album causes?

Pavel:So be it... it's a rollercoaster of emotions...

A8:Why the band have this name?

Pavel:Because she should have had one, she couldn't get another.

A9:What´s the difference between Lunatic Gods and Ramchat?

Pavel:In Lunatic Gods, I sang experimental and complex metal. When I started Ramchat, I said to myself that I will play more simply, but the more the songs will be stronger and more soulful.

A10:What´s the idea behind artwork´s album?

Pavel:Create a feeling.Any kind.Just hit an arrow in the mind...

A11:What kind of subject don´t deserve a Ramchat song?

Pavel:Create a feeling.Any kind.Just hit an arrow in the mind...

A12:This album is conceptual?

Pavel:No it's not. But there are many songs that are a story in themselves. For example, about a father whose son was taken away or a daughter whose village burned her mother because they called her a witch. And she will take revenge.

A13:The band feel differences between Znelo Leson and now in Krvel?

Pavel:Yes, we have moved on. I got better at rhyming and we left the graphics to the professionals. We have always focused on music and lyrics, not graphics, design... We were rightly criticized for it, and we have now detailed this.

A14:Who are the female voices that we sometimes hear on the album?

Pavel:It's Lenka. A friend of our singer Walki.

A15:Generally, Black Metal is seen as a pessimistic style. Can we say that despite the pagan and folkloric influences that surround it, the band has a more realistic tone than the common pessimism in Black Metal?

Pavel:We are not your typical angry black metal band. Ramchat is said to be full of fear, but at the same time the fans claim that we are also full of light.

A16:Can sorcery save or at least postpone our end?

Pavel:Only the self-transformation of each of us can save the world. If working on ourselves results in positive witchcraft, we will save the world.
