A1:Talking about the composition work in Rift?
Eldprov:We keep it simple! Jonas writes the songs and Ante takes care of the lyrics.
A2:Prior to this current album, the band is said to have done a job that had 100 copies. What were the ideas brought about in it?
Eldprov: Yes, 100 copies of the first single "Until Nightfall". Simply because we as many others prefer a physical copy.
A3:Are the singles "Hunt" and "Until Nightfall" on this album? If the answer is no, why didn't it happen?
Eldprov:Both 'Hunt' and 'Until Nightfall' will be featured on the album, the latter one re-recorded.
A4:How come emerged the invites to Jacob Björnfot?
Eldprov:He is a skilled guitarist and Jonas had been in contact with him for quite some time so the question came natural.
A5:How is Eldprov different from your previous bands?
Eldprov: Eldprov contains much more melodies and is somewhat inspired from the 90s era of swedish Gothenburg death metal.
A6:Some literature or film inspire the band?
Eldprov:Some of the songs on the album is about various mythologies and creatures from different cultures.
A7:What´s the idea behind artwork´s album?
Eldprov:We stumbled upon Triple seis design and really liked their work. The idea behind the cover is the rift that occurs in mythologies, societies, men and creatures and even within yourself.
A8:Between Thrash and Black styles, which of the two can we see more intensely in this debut album?
Eldprov:I would say that the album has more black metal elements to it but I'm sure you could find other genres as well.
A9:In addition to your work as a musician, can we say that your day-to-day work helps to inspire some of your songs?
Eldprov:Not so much our daily jobs but by just looking at the mental state of the world and everything going on is an endless pool of inspiration.
A10:How the band arrive to Grind To Death Records?
Eldprov:We have mutual friends signed to Grind to Death Records and we saw that Jimmy takes his work seriously and is passionate for what he does so we sent him the material and he picked it up.
A11:How come emerged the invite to Heljarmadr?
Eldprov:Jonas and Heljarmadr have been friends for a long time and have collaborated on each other's projects before so it came natural to ask Heljarmadr if he wanted to contribute with singing on one of the songs.
A12:What would the 2022 Eldprov say to the 2019 Eldprov?
Eldprov:We would say: Do not be in a hurry and do something half-hearted. Let it take the time it needs and get a good end product instead and that is also what we have done.
A13:This album is conceptual?
Eldprov:To some extent, yes.
A14:Is it possible to point out sonic and lyrical differences between the work already done and the one that will be released?
Eldprov:Yes! The songs on the album differs somewhat to each other.
A15:Based on your songs from the new album, is man as a species an agony or an animal for health?
Eldprov:No.
A16:How come emerged the invite to Johannes Axeman?
Eldprov:Johannes is the older brother to our vocalist and a talanted guirarist with years of experience. We came to the idea early in the project that we would invite alot of friends to participate in the recording.
A17:Apart from Eldprov, what style of metal will a metal fan not find on Eldprov?
Eldprov:The songs on the album are very wide and cover most styles in extreme metal. We do not think so much about any specific genre when we write songs. A good riff is a good riff regardless of genre, but in order to answer your question we would say it's a mixture of black/death/thrash metal mostly with traces of heavy metal.
