Well,Friends Of Aristocracy!
We speak again of our newsroom.Where, we will follow in all its emotions, the seventy-seventh interview of our page.We must say that this is the second time we have spoken with this band.We met the band Beyond The Structure, who plays Death Metal and in 2019. That year, they were presenting their EP Machine Of Progress. A very interesting ep for a page still growing and always looking for great news.Being that, they had already made a first full album in 2014 titled as Nauseating Truth, before that a demo was made by them titled as Condemned. Deceased in 2013.After this first interview, the band went through a big change in its lineup if we compare the time of it.Because of that, and also because the band is releasing their second album Scrutiny this year. Let's go to our second interview with them. First, an extreme Estonian whack on your ear!

A1:Talking about the composition work in Scrutiny?
Beyond Of Structure:I started to work on "Scrutiny" right after we played some support shows for "Machine of progress" EP. Our drummer Roman left the band at the time and I had some ideas and just decided to record another full album. I made 10 full demos and I though to record this album with programmed drums but at the same time I found drummer Simo Atso who was ready tp join the band. So we choosed 8 best song and just started rehearsing. I tooks us pretty long as Simo had to do military servece for 1 year. But after we recorded drums we did guitars and bass, and I started to work on lyrics. Unfortnatly our ex vocalist Mihail Makoshin left the band right at the middle of vocal recording for "Scrutiny" , so it took me some time to find new vocalist. I I remember album was complitly ready right before summer 2021 after we did all the vocals with Edgar Balabanov and than mixed and mestered it.
A2:What structures do you want to disrupt on this album?
Beyond The Structure:"Scrutiny" is deffinatly different from our debut album "Nauseating Truth". This time I tried to keep sound as organic as possible. There is no quantizing on guitars and drums. I also tried to make song structures more different additing some jazzy and progressive riffs. "Scrutiny" deffinetly showing how band is beveloped though those years. A3:What would be the band's view of the difference between being technical and using the progressive part? I really tried not to be as much progressive on "Scrutiny" as on our last Ep "Machine Of Progress". But looks it my nature to combine progressive and technical elements. I really never plan anything while starting to write music and just letting it go with a flow.
A4:Some literature or film inspire the band?
Beyond The Structure:I was reading a lot to make all the lyrics done for this album. Books was really my inspiration for that. At the time I was reading Stanislaw Lem,Victor Pelevin , strugatsky brothers and Jean-Paul Sartre. For cinema Andrei Tarkovsky always been a big influence.

A5:What are these existences that the band wants to talk about in the seventh song? Song inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre story called "Nausea". Story tells about how persone perceiving things and life process differently during existential crisis. The band touches upon the crisis of existential existence, mass psychosis, and the inevitable catastrophes caused by the actions of a consumption-based society. In genneral thematically, the album addresses the trials and difficulties that humanity faces over the course of evolution.
A6:What kind of subject don´t deserve a BTS song?
Beyond The Structure:Hard to say. Right now I really trying to stik up with books which inspire a lot, who knows which topics we going to speak about in the future.
A7:What´s the idea behind artwork´s album?
Beyond The Structure:Album arts is made by Vladimir Chebakov who was prviousy worked with a band on "Machine of progress" EP. I think this art work perfectly reflects humanity and trials and difficulties that humanity faces over the course of evolution.
A8:In a way, does your daily work help to influence any of your music? I think not, I am taking my inspiration from the nature and art, this is what really helps me in this case.

A9:How band arrive to Vicious Instinct Records?
Beyond The Structure:After "Scrutiny" was done I srarted to send an album to different labels. I think I send around 200-250 emails. We got some postitive answers and finnaly we ended up on Vicious Instinct records as this label looked most suitable for us.
A10:Explain the six song,please?
Beyond The Structure:Profanation of the non-existent is inspired by Victors Pelevin story named "Weapon of retaliation". It talks about how mass psychosis and propaganda makes non-existent things real.
A11:I already talked to the band at the beginning, today I talk again. Has anything changed in the band's structure?
Beyond The Structure:Thank you. We have a new vocalist and drummer now , we deffinitly sounding better and more tight now. I hope things going to be beeter and better at the future.
A12:Is this album conceptual?
Beyond The Structure:Lyricly it's fully dedicated to humanity and problems it facing throughout globalisation and evolution.
A13:Has Estonia evolved in metal?
Beyond The Structure:We have a lots of bands and musicians here who are involved into metal . But unfortunately we don't have much active death metal bands here. Let's hope it's going to be better in the future.
