Polish progmetallers FACTOR 8 release a video for their “Shot In The Dark” cover
Factor 8, the brainchild of a guitarist extraordinaire Mariusz Lemański (Aegir) and the singer Bartek Wojciechowski, is currently working on their sophomore album. In their music they mix modern heavy metal with progressive touch.
The band has released a video for the Ozzy Osbourne’s classic, off “The Ultimate Sin”, co-written by the Madman himself and Phil Soussan.
The clip was produced by Peter “Lestath” Leszczynski, who is not just the drummer of Factor 8, but also the owner of Red Sun Recording studio (www.rsrs.pl). Camera assistant: Dariusz Głuchowski.
The band: Bartek Wojciechowski (voc), Mariusz Lemański (g, b.voc), Piotr Łotocki (g), Kamil Robaczewski (bg), Peter „Lestath” Leszczyński (dr). The keyboards were provided by Daniel Pradella.
German hardrockers BLACK HORNET release their debut album “Remove Before Flight”!
What happens when three band members of a crossover metal band team up with a Pink Floyd and Deep Purple tribute singer? To find out, there is no way around Black Hornet. The quartet around Peter Christeleit (vocals / guitar), Markus Polzer (drums), Matthias Polzer (bass) and Hannes Rau (guitar) are characterized by powerful alternative rock without blinkers for other musical realms. Imagine a slightly rockish version of RAGE.
At the beginning of 2021, what belongs together finally found together: the band Black Hornet saw the light of day. After the ideas were just bubbling up, the complete songs for the first album “Remove Before Flight” were already set at the end of 2021. The recordings for the album began around the turn of the year 2021/2022 in Werkall Studio Ulm. Black Hornet's debut album was released on July 5th 2022.
