Well,Friends of Aristocracy!

We speak again of our newsroom, where in a little while, we will have in all its emotions, the interview 191 of the Aristocracy. This time, we spoke with a Black Metal band that abuses esoteric themes with an atmosphere full of elements linked to witchcraft. But, in this case, we are talking about a band that seeks the psychological side of life.Internal pains are your biggest challenges, in addition to the internal chaos that human beings live with on a daily basis. We are talking about the Cypriot band Temple Of Evil and they presented us last year, their second album entitled Apolytrosis. However, make no mistake. This album is not a continuation of his first work made in 2015 entitled The 7th Awakening, but it presents a clear evolution of his capabilities and his personal dive into the unconscious that we all have and want to know how it works. It's time to play a song by them so that this unprecedented interview can take place, first, we want to sincerely thank the band for their work done over the years and also for answering our humble but important questions.

A1:Talking about the composition work in Apolytrosis?

Temple Of Evil:Composing the album has been an internal struggle through which we experimented and exposed ourselves to new lyrical and musical paths previously untrodden. Each track was approached and composed by portraying each state of being.

A2:Should we question whether there is any good?

Temple Of Evil:It depends on what someone considers good.

A3:I found the band very interesting to use trombone and cello, but why did this decision happen?

Temple Of Evil:It happened because we had a vision of fleshing those specific sounds on our material as they fit perfectly to it.

A4:Is it correct to say that the band needs chaos to function?

Temple Of Evil:You certainly need chaos as through it you evoke the deepest thoughts of thyself. Chaos, being the underlying essence of creation, can only be assessed as the driving element of evolution.

A5:What´s the idea behind artwork´s album?

Temple Of Evil:The artwork is extremely vital to us as it complements the music, and it does so accurately. While we had an initial idea beforehand, the artwork was fully conceptualised with our brother Khaos Diktator, who absorbed the album and materialised it in colour. Each track possesses a unique painting which represents the corresponding state of being, while the cover art is an overall representation of the visual identity.

A6:How is the occult treated by the band on this album?

Temple Of Evil:Occult is not present on this album at all.

A7:How is Temple Of Evil different from your previous bands?

Temple Of Evil:We were not involved with any bands prior to the creation of the Temple.

A8:What kind of subject don´t deserve a Temple Of Evil song?

Temple Of Evil:I would say that it is more of a question of what deserves to be in our art, rather than what doesn’t.

A9:We approached it in terms of discovering new inner portals previously unknown to us. This leads to profound inspiration and finding out more about our esoteric selves. Each track possesses a meditative oneness that transmogrifies into a body of soul.

A10:Since the band addresses the inner self, would any band have an influence on Sigmund Freud?

Temple Of Evil:Yes, it has at least to some of us,amongst others.

A11:This album is conceptual?

Temple Of Evil:Yes, the album is conceptual as it delves around self-indulgence and the exploration of one’s inner self, diving into the subconscious and contesting with inmost chaos.

A12:How band arrive to Folter Records?

Temple Of Evil:We got in touch with Folter Records regarding the release of our album and we immediately agreed on everything. Joerg is a true professional, few of his kind, thusly we are proud to have collaborated with Folter Records for Apolytrosis.

A13:Why the band have this name?

Temple Of Evil:A close friend was present at our primitive rehearsals, and he suggested it as he was inspired by our music. We instantly approved it as we considered to be the ideal name to embrace our art.

A14:Some film inspire the band?

Temple Of Evil:No specific films inspired us in crafting the new album.Nevertheless, each of us has specific films, amongst other stimuli, that influence and synthesize our artistic aspiration.

A15:The band feel differences between The 7th Awakening and now in Apolytrosis?

Temple Of Evil:Undoubtedly! There is a lot of differences between our albums, but it still has our sound and identify.Apolytrosis serves not as a continuance of The 7th Awakening but rather as the next chapter in the evolution of Temple of Evil.

A16:Is it better to think of man as agony than an animal for health?

Temple Of Evil:It depends on how someone treats their husk as their actions reflect the state they suffer or live.
